Chaloklum is a bay at the Northernmost tip of Koh Phangan and the happy home of Veranda Phangan.
This bay is the secret home of creatives, musicians and divers on the island.
A little sanctuary of tranquility.
The Village is a traditional working Thai fishing village with colourful fishing boats decorating the bay adding to its picturesque, idyllic, relaxing atmosphere.
If you’re the early bird type, wake up early for your morning yoga, Pilates or Bootcamp session at Veranda;
watch the fisherman arrive with their catch of the day;
head out for a fishing trip with a local villager;
catch a glimpse of the monks from the local temple on their alms rounds;
and end the day with sunset coconut on the deck at Veranda Phangan.
Our Veranda Café caters to many different palates and also accommodates special bookings for private events, so,
if you don’t see what you want on the menu, feel free to ask and arrangements can be made.
Recommendations for local restaurants are also available upon request.
Step away from the trend and experience Chaloklum.
It truly is the best bay on Koh Phangan.
(Of course we may be slightly biased 🙂 )
Experience a touch of paradise for yourself
People never come to Chaloklum once.
If you choose to come, you’ll be back for sure.
There is a range of accommodation available in the bay to suit every traveler and every traveler’s budget.
Veranda Phangan is within walking distance of all accommodation on the bay (from 5-25 minutes).
We are also able to help with motorbike rental if you choose to stay at a different bay.
